Public preview privacy notice

How Digitext AI handles data in the current preview.

Preview notice. These disclosures describe the current preview and do not promise that future production features will use identical data practices.

Private by default

Private product routes require authentication. A document becomes accessible through a public capability only when an authorized workspace owner or administrator explicitly creates a permission-controlled share link.

Data we store

D1 stores account, workspace, document, processing, review, organization, sharing, API-key, audit, and Assistant session metadata. API credentials and share capabilities are stored as hashes rather than reusable plaintext values. Private R2 storage holds import sources, canonical documents, review drafts, previews where available, and generated exports. Arbitrary file uploads are disabled in this preview.

Assistant and OCR

Live Unlimited-OCR and live AI providers are disabled. The Assistant preview performs deterministic retrieval over authorized canonical documents and stores bounded session metadata, not broad question-and-answer transcripts. Synthetic Demo OCR is clearly labeled and is not a fallback for user uploads.

Retention and deletion

Exports, shares, API keys, and Assistant sessions have product-level expiry or revocation controls, but complete account deletion and scheduled retention reconciliation remain operator-managed during preview. No automated deletion deadline is promised.

Security boundary

Authorization is checked server-side before private D1 or R2 access. Future activation of external providers requires separate review and updated disclosures covering subprocessors, regions, retention, and security controls.

Privacy requests

Use the Support page for access, deletion, or privacy questions. Do not send document contents, API tokens, or share links with a request.
