A 20-page PDF normally uses 20 Page Credits under standard processing.

How AI Actions work

AI Actions measure bounded Assistant work against authorized documents. They are not raw model-token charges.

Usage policy

Included Page Credits and AI Actions refresh monthly.
Yearly plans are billed annually at a 10% discount, while usage allowances refresh monthly.
Up to 25% of unused included Page Credits may roll into the immediately following month.
Rolled credits expire after that following month and do not roll indefinitely.
Purchased Page Credit and AI Action packs remain valid for 12 months unless an enterprise agreement states otherwise.
Digitext defaults to a hard usage limit at 100%, with no surprise automatic overage charges.
Planned usage alerts are approximately 70%, 85%, and 100%.
Customers may request a manual top-up.
Future automatic top-up choices would be disabled, one top-up per billing period, or a bounded monthly budget, with explicit administrator approval.
Automatic top-up is not currently available.
Digitext-caused failures and retries do not create duplicate billable usage.

Pricing questions

What counts as one Page Credit?: One Page Credit normally covers one successfully processed page through ingestion, OCR, basic layout processing, structured document creation, search indexing, and one standard extraction profile.
What happens when I reach my monthly Page Credit limit?: Processing pauses at the hard usage limit. You can request a manual top-up or discuss a different plan; surprise automatic overage charges are not applied.
Are blank or duplicate pages charged?: Blank pages and exact duplicates rejected before billable processing are not charged. Digitext-caused failures and retries also do not create duplicate charges.
What is an AI Action?: An AI Action measures bounded Assistant work, such as a verified lookup, summary, or comparison. Search, filtering, citation opening, review, correction, and standard exports do not use AI Actions.
Can I purchase extra Page Credits?: Published top-up options are shown on this page. Purchasing is not self-service in the preview, so contact support to discuss capacity.
Do unused credits roll over?: Up to 25% of unused included Page Credits may roll into the next month only. Purchased Page Credit and AI Action packs remain valid for 12 months unless an enterprise agreement states otherwise.
How does yearly billing work?: Yearly plans are billed once per year at a 10% discount. Included Page Credits and AI Actions still refresh monthly.
Can I change plans?: Plan changes are not self-service in the preview. Contact support to discuss the right plan and timing.
Is API access included?: API access is available as a Starter add-on, included with published allowances in Professional and Business, and custom for Enterprise and Private AI.
Can Digitext run with private or local AI?: Private or local processing can be designed under a Private AI agreement. It requires separate infrastructure review, implementation, and validation.
Are scanner devices included?: Plans include scanner-agent allowances, not scanner hardware. Direct scanner control is not available in this preview.
Is custom onboarding included?: Business includes standard onboarding. Dedicated or custom onboarding is available for custom plans, while additional implementation work may be quoted separately.
Are taxes included in the displayed price?: Applicable taxes and final billing terms are determined by the customer agreement.
Does the Free Trial include live OCR?: No. Production document processing is under validation. The preview supports guided samples, imported structured documents, and manual text workflows without silently processing uploads.
